the Kiki Art Story

Born and raised in Utrecht, the Netherlands, the fascination with painting, drawing and other ways of being creative (interior, photography) was present from a young age. Naturally, during high school and after, I followed subjects and courses in art, art history and digital photography.

When moving to the Amsterdam area, I started to create abstract paintings in my free time. I have travelled a lot during my life and get much of my inspiration from personal experiences I gathered around the world. At the same time, either small sketches or larger projects, my work is a highly-personal reflection of me. Even though I create primarily for myself, my work has been well received.
